I
have purchased 6 parcels total. The first one I bought for $1200. (I think close to that anyway) plus I had it surveyed. When the 6 months was up, I advertised it for $11,500 and could have sold it 3 times.
Now I have 5 more I'm holding. One is a lot in a nice subdivision but has a utility line running through it. A builder wants it and is getting a price on how much it will be to move the line. This one I bought for $600.00 + survey. I should be able to make at
least $10,000 on this one.
The others are as follows:
- 1 acre lot in city limits bought for $850 should be able to sell for $8,000 to$9,000 (not sure about the value of this one yet)
- 3/4 acre lot in city limits bought for around $650 should be worth at least $7,000.

one is a residential lot paid $330 its not worth much but is across the street from a middle school, a builder has approached me about it but right now not sure of its worth maybe $3,000.

the last one is a lot in the same area...one is an old frame church , the other is a little white house or building with a lot of stuff stored in it. Bought for $220
not sure at all of the worth.

Just a quick note to let you know that I have bought
my first tax deed property.
Its valued at $75,000. Min bid of $4500.
I bought it for $8,200.
It gets even better. Its a rental property that
currently brings in a rent of
$900 per month. The tenant has 9 months left on his lease.
I met the tenant and
he is willing to purchase the property from me for
$65,000....Wow.!!!
Of course, all of this is only made possible through

"due diligence". There is a 6 month redemption period and
very little chance of the property being redeemed.
Best outcome:
Paid $8,400, collect
$900/month for 6 months.
